Mural
This Summer
My more recent work...

About the piece: A year ago, I was commissioned by the director and coordinator of the EIC (Environmental Interpretive Center) to complete an intricate mural featuring our beautiful bird population on the University of Michigan- dearborn campus. I decided to complete this test digitally the entire process took upwards of 40 hours and months of preparation.
Each bird required extensive research on wing patterns, behaviors, and ideal climates. For instance the american Gold finch (pictured at the lower right side) trades there usual bright yellow tone for a duller winter plumage. The careful transition between shows a healthy contrast between a playful and vibrant autumn and a calm a serene winter.
